My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Napoli!
A delightful tuxedo cat, brimming with energy and always ready for an adventure. He loves to play with his brothers and tackle every toy in sight. Then there’s bicolor brown and buff striped tabby with a white belly and boots Napiere, a little ball of joy whose amusing cuddly antics are sure to melt your heart as he seeks out the coziest spots to snuggle. Napoli and Napiere have quickly become the darlings of everyone who visits. Napoli's bold and adventurous spirit is infectious, and his playful nature ensures there's never a dull moment at the café. Whether he's chasing after toy mice or engaging in playful wrestling matches with his brother, Napoli's antics always bring a smile to those watching.

Napiere, on the other hand, offers a more mellow contrast to his brother's exuberance. With his soft, plushy fur and gentle demeanor, he has a knack for finding the warmest, most comfortable spots to curl up. His favorite pastime is lounging in laps, purring contentedly while being petted, making him the perfect companion for a relaxing afternoon.

Together, Napoli and Napiere create a delightful balance of energy and tranquility, embodying the essence of brotherly love. They remind us of the simple joys of companionship and the warmth that a pet can bring into our lives. If you're looking for a pair of kittens who will fill your home with laughter, love, and warmth, consider opening your heart to these charming brothers. They are ready to embark on a new adventure with you, bringing endless joy and cuddles. Come meet them at the Frisky Cat Cafe and see how these two little characters can brighten your days!

A little history - Napa, the mother of Napoli and Napiere arrived at the shelter with my five newborn kittens. Shortly after, we were transferred to a foster home, but unfortunately, we contracted a severe illness, resulting in the heartbreaking loss of three of my little ones in just three nights. The shelter resembled a lively gathering, overflowing with an abundance of adorable furry companions! My poor kittens struggled to latch on due to their stuffy noses, which made this period particularly challenging. However, I am grateful to have two resilient and joyful survivors, Napoli and Napiere, who bring immense happiness to my life. I made my debut on February 22, 2022.

We have a wide variety of cats and kittens ready for adoption! All our adoptable felines can be found at the Frisky Cat Cafe in St. Augustine, located at 1092 Ponce De Leon Blvd (US 1). Visiting the cafe is a fantastic opportunity to discover your ideal kitty. Each of our cats and kittens is well-socialized and eager to engage with visitors, allowing you to experience their true personalities.

Go meet their pets

We are a foster based rescue. Our kitties are raised in loving foster homes, so they are socialized, love people and have good potty habits. Some are already adjusted to busy households with dogs, other adult cats and children. Please send us an inquiry and we will schedule a meet and greet.

More about this rescue

Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue

We are a foster based rescue providing home care havens for kittens in need.

We are a 501(c)3 charitable organization supported by a network of volunteer fosters. We provide urgent care to neonate and sick kittens in need of life saving support.
We provide a haven to kittens until they are thriving and ready for spay and neuter surgery and then adoption.

Kittens under eight weeks old are one of the most at-risk populations in the United States, being killed or allowed to die by the hundreds of thousands every year. Our vision is that all neonatal, sick and other at-risk kittens are given a chance to grow and thrive through life-saving fosters and then adoption. Join us in the fight to stop euthanasia of orphaned kittens and share our dream that one day animals will no longer be killed in America's shelters. We believe every life is important, no matter how small.

We need everyone's help with our mission. There are many ways you can help. Please donate, volunteer to foster or adopt today!!
