If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Herbert is a good boy! He is very happy to see you when you walk in the door and thrives on attention. Like all huskies, he loves to go on walks and is friendly with everyone he has met. He does like jumping on the bed and will actively try to cuddle with you on the pillow. Herbert enjoys going on walks like all huskies. An avid hiker would be a great fit for him. I have seen him attempt to chase a car on a deserted beach and to his credit, he almost caught it. Obviously it's not a behavior I encourage. Herbert would thrive in a home where preferably he was either the only dog or one of a few so he can be the center of attention. He gets along with my other dogs just fine. His only behavioral issue, is he can become jealous (low growling) when my Pitbull is showing me affection and my Pitbull actively guards me blocking Herbert from nuzzling me. My other dogs don't have this issue with him, nor does he have any aggression issues with the dozens of dogs he plays with at the dog park.
