Found on a freezing night at the beginning of 2025, this tiny survivor has had quite the journey. Just days after rescue, she broke her leg - likely from being malnourished, as it happened during a playful jump. Her amazing foster family has spent months nursing her back to health and helping her transform her into a lovable, snuggly, wildly clever family pup.
About Punky:
Personality: Smart, energetic, loyal, and hilariously quirky
Good With:
• Dogs – loves them!
• Kids – great, just a little rough when she’s extra playful
• Cats – she LOVES them; they don’t always love her enthusiasm
Bonus Feature: Will chase away mice, raccoons, and any other unwanted home invaders
She’d make an incredible mountain biking partner, running buddy, or hunting/working companion - anything active where she can put her brain and energy to good use!
Note:
She has come a long way, but she’s still a bit of a work-in-progress. Her ideal adopter will have patience, a sense of humor, and time to continue her training. She aims to please and learns fast - especially when snacks are involved.
