My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

💗Meet Marcy, a stunning Rottweiler/Shepherd mix, just under a year old, who is ready to find the forever home she’s been waiting for.

Marcy came into our care at only 4.5 months old as a very frightened puppy. With patience, structure, and the support of her foster family, she has blossomed into a loving, playful companion who thrives in the comfort of a calm, predictable home. She especially finds confidence and happiness alongside other dogs, so a canine buddy in the home would help her continue to flourish.

While Marcy has made incredible progress, she is still nervous in public settings and prefers quieter environments. She is currently maintained on a low dose of Prozac to support her continued confidence building, and ongoing use may be recommended as she keeps learning to trust the world around her. Because she feels safest with consistency and routine, she would do best in a calm home without young children and with a securely fenced yard.

In her foster home, Marcy is affectionate, gentle, and loves attention from the people she trusts. She enjoys fetch, toys, and playtime with dog friends, but she isn’t the type to rush up and greet every stranger — she prefers to observe first and warm up at her own pace.

Do you have a soft spot for the shy, tender-hearted ones? Marcy is ready to give her whole heart to the family willing to give her the chance she deserves.

Additional adoption info

We do not use a first-come, first-serve process when adopting out our animals. Instead, we focus on best fit for each individual animal. The process is intended to ensure a long-term successful adoption for both the family and pet.

All of our adoptable animals have had a complete veterinarian checkup. Our dogs and puppies are heartworm tested. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, and have received age-appropriate vaccines before going to their forever homes.

Feline adoption fees - $125 for kittens under 8 months, $100 if over 8 months, and $60 if over 9 years old.

Canine adoption fees - $350 for puppies under 1 year, $300 if over 1 year, and $200 if over 7 years old.
