This precious senior has quickly stolen hearts over here. Briar is a 9 yr old retired hunter looking for a low key but loving family to give her a home. When she first arrived, she was very timid and cowered when you’d approach, but she has quickly come out of her shell while being in foster, especially with other dogs here, so we think she would benefit from having another dog in the home.
Briar is quiet and low energy and is happy to just sit with you on the sofa while you work or watch TV. She has started to show interest in toys after watching the younger puppies play with them, but she’s not much of a chewer. She enjoys napping on the sofa or a soft dog bed. She does excellent in crates and even enjoys sleeping in them, maybe because they help her feel safe. She is also great with other dogs, gentle with cats, and gentle with children. She will need help with potty training since she has never lived in a house before.
Briar is spayed, HW negative, has been dewormed, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $250.
