My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

King is a happy, playful pup who lives up to his royal name with his incredible spirit! He loves his toys (especially his stuffies) and will proudly show them off before inviting you to a game of fetch (he’s really good at it, too!). When playtime’s over, King is all about the snuggles and truly believes he’s a lap dog, no matter his size.

He’s food-motivated and already knows a few tricks, like sit and paw, so he’s always eager to show off for a treat or two. King is both crate-trained and potty-trained, making him a wonderful companion who’s ready to settle right into home life.

When he’s not playing, King enjoys relaxing outside and absolutely loves a good massage. With his goofy charm, smarts, and affectionate nature, King is ready to bring lots of fun and love to his forever family.

Go meet their pets

We’re so excited that you’re considering adopting from Nashville Humane Association. We’re located at 213 Oceola Ave in West Nashville, near the intersection of White Bridge Road and Charlotte Pike, and are open from 10AM until 5PM TUE through SUN (closed Mondays). We’re also closed from 12-1PM for “Quiet Hour.” As a quick heads up, our adoption process takes about an hour, and all adoptions must be finalized on-site at the shelter, so if you’re planning to visit and adopt, be sure to make accommodations for time.
