My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Trapper John; Your Loyal Adventure Buddy 🐾

Trapper John is a 7-year-old Shepherd/Retriever mix with a big heart and a love for the simple joys in life. He's looking for a calm, child-free home where he can be your best friend and partner in fun.

✨ About Trapper John:
Age: 7 years
Favorite Activities: Chasing a frisbee, chewing on bones or sticks, backyard squirrel patrol, and soaking up pets.
Personality: Loyal, food-motivated, and loves spending time with his person.
Dog Skills: Can do well with other dogs after a slow, proper introduction.
Training Tip: Will happily work for treats and is eager to please!

🚫 Needs:
Trapper John should not live with children. He recently bit our young child, so we're seeking an adult-only home where he can thrive safely.

🌳 Perfect Home:
A fenced yard for squirrel-watching and frisbee, a patient adopter to give him structure, and time for play, and loyal companionship.
