My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Macadamia, affectionately known as Mama Mac is a sweet, gentle girl who was found in heartbreaking circumstances. She was locked in a dog crate with her kittens and abandoned on a hot summer day. Thankfully, a kindhearted neighbor rescued them, and now Macadamia is safe, healthy, and ready to find her forever home.

Despite seeing the rougher side of what humans have to offer, Macadamia is so affectionate and loving. She loves attention and will happily curl up in your lap for snuggles or keep you company during movie nights. She is the definition of a lap cat and is mellow and happy to be spoiled indoors. At around 2-3 years old, Macadamia is the perfect mix of playful and laid back. She’s past the kitten chaos but still full of curiosity.

Macadamia is thriving in her foster home, where she enjoys lounging in her favorite window seat and watching birds. She's great with kids and tolerates other cats. She would be happy as an only cat, or with a calm feline companion. She would prefer not to live with kittens - she has raised her own and is tired from all their energy! Macadamia she hasn't met dogs yet but is calm and friendly overall so we believe she would adjust well with proper introductions.

Macadamia's adoption fee of $50 includes   negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), spay surgery, feline leukemia, FVRCP, and Rabies vaccines, de-worming, topical flea protection, and a microchip.
