My name is Lucky!

Hey! I’m Lucky — The Undercover Cuddle Bug in Training! Hi there! I’m Lucky, about 1 year old and a Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix with a whole lot of potential (and maybe a dash of mystery). I came to a shelter after my old home just wasn’t the right fit — turns out, I wasn’t quite the best playmate for the kiddo there. When I first arrived, I was pretty scared and kind of hid in my shell. But guess what? My foster mom chose to take a chance on me and I’m now starting to poke my head out, and finding my confidence one tail wag at a time! I’m LOVE playing with toys and sneaking in some “hey, can I have a pet?” moments when people are around. I am doing great with my canine and feline foster siblings. I am curious about the chickens here but I mean them no harm. I’m looking for a family who’s ready to be my cheerleader, helping me settle into a calm, loving home where I can really shine. I’m house and crate trained, and I get along well with other dogs (but a meet and greet is always a good idea to make sure we’re buds). I’m neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative — basically, ready to roll!  His adoption fee is $275 and you can apply to meet her here:    Adoption Application - Legacy Humane Society

We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted.
