Take the Pet Home
This helps The Dancing Cat with pet care costs.
Seven is a bright, loving, and delightfully playful cat who has perfected the art of balancing zoomies with snuggles. She’s social, affectionate, and great with both cats and kids — the kind of cat who fits beautifully into an active, loving home (and especially one where someone’s home often to provide plenty of playtime and lap time).
Every morning, Seven can be found chasing her foster sisters, Sassafras and Wendy, back and forth across the living room and up and down the cat wall in an impressive show of agility. Her favorite toy is a feather worm wand, but truly, she loves anything that rolls, dangles, or can be pounced on — tunnels, strings, spiral toys, you name it. After she’s spent her energy, she’s ready for her favorite thing in the world: a human lap.
Seven LOVES laps — any lap, anywhere. If you’re sitting on the couch, she’s in your lap. If you’re lying down, she’ll claim your chest. And if you’re not sitting at all, she’ll find you, meow insistently, and wait for you to sit so she can climb aboard. (Fair warning: she’s also known to come running the moment she hears a toilet lid go up — apparently, that’s prime lap time too!)
She’s a tiny bit shy when meeting new people, but it doesn’t last long, especially if you have a Churu treat handy. Once she warms up, her affectionate and funny personality shines through.
Seven likes to nap in the afternoon on the bed when her foster human is at work and prefers sleeping close to her person at night. She’s also an intelligent little girl who could likely be trained to learn some fun tricks or routines — especially with the right reward.
When it comes to food, Seven’s a bit of a diva: one day she loves something, the next day she’s over it. She’s also fond of adult cat kibble over kitten food, which might explain her long, slender build.
If you’re looking for a cat who’s equal parts entertainer, lap warmer, and heart-stealer, Seven is your girl.
Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet.
This kitten is currently in a foster home. To meet this kitten, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adopt
