“Overall Charlotte likes to roll around and wrestle with my dogs, but her favorite thing is the couch. Charlotte wants to be by your side 24/7 if she could be.” – Kirstyn, AFF staff member and Foster
Charlotte came to us from Nashville, Tennessee, and she has a heart that shines through in everything she does. There is something grounding about her presence, something that makes the world slow down a bit. She greets new people gently, with a soft tail wag and curious eyes, and before long she is leaning in for affection like she has known you forever.
She loves her dog friends and plays with a joyful spirit, racing and tumbling through the yard before finding the perfect spot for a well-earned nap. Charlotte was previously fostered with a child and absolutely adored him, showing her gentle and patient nature in every interaction. Her favorite thing, though, will always be being close to her people. Whether she is stretched across the couch or resting her head in your lap, Charlotte makes every moment feel a little more peaceful.
She is steady, kind, and full of quiet joy, the sort of companion who doesn’t just share your home but fills it with comfort.

More about this rescue
Animal Farm Foundation gets to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
Located in Dutchess County NY, AFF has been working nationally to secure equal treatment and opportunity for “pit bull” dogs since 1985.
OUR ORGANIZATION
Animal Farm Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation, has been rescuing and re-homing animals, as well as making grants to other humane organizations, since the mid-1980's.
We currently dedicate our resources to securing equal treatment and opportunity for "pit bull" dogs. Whether the dog is called a "pit bull" because of a documented pedigree, or merely on the basis of physical appearance, recognizing that these dogs are individuals for whom we are responsible is an integral step toward a compassionate future for all dogs.
