River – Shy Guy, Big Potential
River’s life started out rough — he was abandoned at a cat colony, left to fend for himself. Thankfully, we brought him into rescue, got him neutered, vaccinated, and gave him a safe place to land. River is still shy, but he’s so close to taking that first step toward trusting people. He’ll sit nearby and watch you intently, sometimes just a whisker’s length away. With a patient and loving adopter, we believe he’ll blossom into a sweet, affectionate companion in his own time.
If you have a quiet home, a gentle heart, and the patience to let River set the pace, you could be the one to show him that people can be kind. His transformation will be worth every moment. His adoption fee has been reduced in the hopes of finding her forever home.
We received a grant from PetFinder Foundation to help find his forever home! His adoption fee has been reduced by $100 (adoption fee will be $50).
Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped (free lifetime registration with adoption).
All of our pets go home with a "Go Home Goody Bag" that includes a starter supply of food, treats, toys, and a voucher for a free month of pet insurance from Trupanion.
