Lucy – Quiet Soul, Loving Heart

Meet Lucy...a 5 year old female cat. She is white with black accents. Found caring for her four kittens at a business in New Haven, Lucy is now done raising her kittens and is ready for a home of her own. She’s shy, but if you go slow, she enjoys gentle pets. She’s a shy girl who appreciates a gentle approach. If you go slowly, she’ll allow pets — and each small step she takes toward trust is a big victory. Lucy is comfortable around other cats and would do well in a calm home where she can feel safe.With patience, kindness, and the right adopter, Lucy will flourish into a loyal and loving companion. Watching her transformation will be just as rewarding as giving her the forever home she deserves. Her adoption fee has been reduced in the hopes of finding her forever home.

We received a grant from PetFinder Foundation to help find her forever home! Her adoption fee has been reduced by $100 (adoption fee will be $50).

Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped (free lifetime registration with adoption).

All of our pets go home with a "Go Home Goody Bag" that includes a starter supply of food, treats, toys, and a voucher for a free month of pet insurance from Trupanion.

Adoptions need to complete our adoption application and once received, our Adoption Counselor will call you to discuss your application to get to know you and your family. We will conduct a home visit and call your vet for a reference. Once you application is approved, you are able to meet the animal (s) you are interested in. If it's a match, you will need to sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
