Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Cassius! Cassius is a 49lb, 9 month old, Boxer who is a bouncy bundle of energy with a heart full of love and a nose for fun! He was previously adopted and returned to the shelter through no fault of his own. According to his former owner, Cassius is house trained, enjoys playing with other dogs, and doesn’t seem to mind cats. He hasn’t had experience around children yet, but he’s ready for a fresh start with a loving home that will give him the chance he deserves. Whether it`s a walk around the block or a game of fetch in the yard, this curious boy is ready to go and walks well on a leash, too. He’s still a puppy at heart, so you’ll see some of those classic puppy quirks—silly zoomies, happy wiggles, and the occasional “what’s that?!” moment—but his joyful spirit is absolutely contagious. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate, and adventurous companion who’s equal parts goofy and sweet, Cassius is ready to steal your heart—and maybe your socks. We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only. If you are interested in adopting, please contact us via FB Messenger or email us at jcasreception@johnsoncounty.in.gov for an application. You can also find one on our website at http://johnsoncountyanimalshelter.com/adopt/. Once an application is submitted and approved, we can set an appointment to meet the pet!
