My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Panda is in need of a foster home while he undergoes medical treatment. Panda was recently diagnosed with FIP and will be undergoing daily medication as part of his treatment. He would greatly benefit from the comfort and companionship of a foster home during this time. He is a younger kitten who would truly thrive in a home environment where he can socialize, play, and experience life outside the shelter while he is recovering.

Foster Reason: FIP

Foster Time Frame: 3 months + recheck in 1 week
Foster time frame could be longer depending on future medical results and needs.

Foster Care Plan: Panda will go home with his daily medication and will have regular check-ins with our medical team as he grows. Panda will need to be the only cat in the home, as he cannot be housed with other felines during his treatment. His treatment will be around 84 days. If you are not able to foster him the whole time, we understand. Even a short time would be helpful to him.

Foster to Adopt Program:
Panda is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit https://www.operationkindness.org/foster/ or email us at foster@operationkindness.org to learn more.
