Are you looking for 7lbs of love? Well look no further!! Meet Lovebug, 'Bug' for short. This sweet, handsome, confident fellow was born to a feral cat on 1/7/25. His owners got him at 2 weeks old. He has been fully vaccinated, neutered, dewormed, tested negative for Felv/FIV and is microchipped. His previous owners did a great job socializing him, for he got along well with their 2 dogs and outdoor cat. However, his owners' indoor cat would not accept him. He is quite unique with a quirky meow and while playing with him he jumped into my lap like a dog would. After hours at the rescue you can hear him playing with his toys. An interview and application are required for adoption. Adoption fee is $75. Located in Covington, GA.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Our adoptees are posted on various sites as well as our Facebook page & website. If interested in a pet then an application is filled out

2.
Interview

After reviewing an application, if the requirements of adopting are met then we set up an interview

3.
Meet the Pet

After conducting an interview, if the requirements of adopting are met then we invite you to meet the pet.

4.
Home Check

If there is a love connection with the pet then we do a homecheck

5.
Approve Application

If all is well with the homecheck and vet references have been checked then we approve the application

6.
Sign Adoption Contract

Then the adoption contract is signed.

7.
Pay Fee

Upon signing the contract the adoption fee is paid and they take home the pet.

Additional adoption info

We require an application and interview with the doctor for all potential adopters. Once the adoption is approved then their is an adoption contract. Cat adoptions are generally $125 and dogs are $250

More about this rescue

We are a veterinarian hospital and we pull animals from the local shelters and try to find them homes. We get the animals healthy, vaccinate, microchip, spay and/or neuter all animals before they are rehomed.
