Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Norman, currently fostered in the Lowell, MI area, by way of Los Angeles! He is bright, playful, med-to-high energy, and loves to play games.
Norman, weighing in at almost 70lbs, is strong and rather fast: a characteristic he would love to show you during a game of fetch. He is really smart and learns new commands quickly. He knows: 'sit', 'down', 'wait', 'out', 'place', and 'find it.' He's also trained on a 'yes' marker. Norman is extremely food-motivated and will do almost anything for you in exchange for some kibble or peanut butter!
Norman is about 2 years old and has now experienced all 4 seasons in Michigan. From being at first startled by falling leaves, he has grown to love all that the midwest has to offer - especially snow! He's forever willing to join you in all adventures, no matter the weather.
Norman needs steady leadership and an active household. He is in a set routine now with his walks and playtime and needs further integration with home life. He has come leaps and bounds with leash manners but will benefit by continuous refreshers. Norman has a medium prey drive with usually reasonable reactivity. He has not been tested off-leash, however, and would benefit by continued established boundaries. He would do best with an all-adult household or one with older children.
