MISS LADY

This lovely girl is Miss Lady. She is a 60lb German Shepherd between 5 and 6 yrs old She has a beautiful black and red coat, is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and is undergoing slow-kill heartworm treatment.

Lady is sweet and loving with a gentle soul. She gets along with kids, people and dogs but is not good with cats. She was found as a stray but has now discovered the love and security of a great foster home. Miss Lady is housebroken, crate trained and rides great in the car. Her favorite past time is relaxing in the yard with a good chew bone. She is an affectionate and happy girl, except during thunderstorms- a thunder shirt helps greatly. Miss Lady walks well on the leash, rides nice in the car and welcomes snuggling and belly rubs.

We require an application. References are checked and a home visit is performed. Placement Director contacts the applicant and discusses the dogs in our program. There will be two meetings between the potential adoptive family and the dog before final transfer. We require a $400.00 adoption fee for Adult Dogs and a $450.00 adoption fee for puppies. This fee covers vaccines, labwork, microchip, and spay/neuter.

Sauver Des Chiens German Shepherd Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer, foster-based 501(c)3 organization based in Texas. At this time we service Texas and Louisiana. Our passion and our mission is to rescue neglected, unwanted, and abused German Shepherd and Large Paw Dogs with the goal of finding them a new permanent and loving home. All dogs receive full veterinary care, including spay/neuter, positive training and necessary behavior modification before they are ready to adopt. These dogs come from stressful circumstances and are give a few weeks to de-compress before being offered for adoption.
