What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Milla is a 6-year-old, registered AKC, spayed female German Shepherd. Shes a beautiful bicolor, with medium-long hair and a medium build. Shes very sweet and affectionate & she loves to cuddle while I work from home, and shes happiest going on adventures like camping, car rides, and swimming (shes a water lover!).
Shes fully e-collar trained and knows commands like recall, sit, down, leave it, come, house, and outside potty. Shes healthy, has no medical issues, and is on Royal Canin food.
Milla is dog-aversive and reactive to other dogs or animals on TV, but weve managed it well with consistent training. Shes never broken skin or injured another dog. However, she absolutely does not get along with our other female dog, and weve been using a crate-and-rotate system for the past three years. Its not a sustainable setup anymore, and she deserves more stability and space to thrive.
She would do best as the only dog in a home with someone who can give her love, attention and structure.
