My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nutmeg!
This playful, people-loving pup is ready to find her forever home!
Nutmeg’s Favorite Things:

Stuffed Toys: Nutmeg lives for stuffed toys and can entertain herself for hours tossing, chewing, and snuggling them.
Running: She’s got energy to burn and absolutely loves to run—whether it`s zoomies in the yard or a playful chase game.

Treats: Food-motivated and always ready to learn if snacks are involved!

Tennis Balls: Still figuring these out… but hey, there’s potential!

People: More than anything, Nutmeg craves human attention. She’s not super interested in other dogs—She’d rather be your one-and-only sidekick.

Training & Skills:
Sit: She knows it! (Though sometimes needs a gentle reminder.)
Come When Called: Super reliable—she’ll come running when you call, especially after playtime.

Leash Walking: She can get a little excited and pull at first, but settles into a nice rhythm with a bit of guidance.

Shake & Lay Down: Still a work in progress—but with her treat drive, she’s got potential to learn fast!

Playful Spirit: Always up for a game, Nutmeg’s happiest with a stuffed toy in her mouth and a human by her side.

Social Behavior:
Nutmeg is a true people-dog. While she`s not reactive to other dogs, she tends to be shy or indifferent around them. Her heart belongs to her humans, and she’d thrive in a home where she gets plenty of love and attention.
