Greetings, my name is Midnight Jackie, you can call me Jackie. I came to Good Home from the New York City shelter after my owner passed away. That was a big change for me, but I’m very resilient and quickly adjusted to my new calm and friendly environment.
At almost 13, I may be a senior lady but sometimes both my foster people and I forget! I enjoy playing with my wand toy, chewing on my soft toys, scratching a vertical scratcher, and being part of the goings on of my household. One of my foster people is a toddler and he and I get along great! But I think I might get overwhelmed by an extremely energetic kid. When the house gets very busy, I need space to get away and have quiet time. As long as my people understand that balance, I’m quite happy.
My other interests include relaxing in a safe, cozy corner, basking in a sunbeam, and cuddling up next to my people. I love a life of balance – social time and alone time. I would love to find a home that reflects that: quiet and predictable but also alive and engaging!
