Hi there! Our names are Ice Cream and Popsicle. We may be young, but we’ve already lived a lot of life! We were MIRACULOUSLY rescued together from a construction site in Brooklyn. Despite living with vision impairment and frequent vet visits to support our good health, we remain cheerful and fun-loving. Not much gets us down!
I’m Ice Cream, I’m a charming, affectionate boy who loves to play and explore. I’ve spent a lot of my life having nice people care for my eyes (one of which had to be removed – I feel much better now!). But I’ve still got that young cat energy! I especially love ping pong balls and wrestling with my sister. When I’m not playing, I love cuddling up with my sister and/or my person and letting loose all the purrs.
I’m Popsicle! I was born with a condition where my eyelashes grew the wrong way and hurt my eyes, but my people helped me get rid of those pesky lashes and now I’m unstoppable! Like my brother Ice Cream I like to play with ping pong balls and we enjoy a good wrestling match, but I also really love a wand toy. I’ve been known to play with plants, so my foster parent keeps those away from me, but overall I’m very well-behaved. My brother and I aren’t very talkative, but we will meow when we’re looking for each other and I’ll chirp when I’m exploring (my foster person says it’s very cute). When it’s pats and scratches time with my person, I’m very happy and I’ll join my brother in a chorus of purrs.
We’d do wonderful in a home that is patient, consistent, and attentive to our eye health. We are bright and positive and just want to enjoy being cats. And while we may need regular eye care for the rest of our lives we’re pretty normal cats who don’t need a whole lot of fuss!
