You'd never know that these appreciative, affectionate, and silly sisters spent years living in the dark, dank basement of a bodega! Since their rescue, soft beds, bright windows, and lots of treats have helped these two cuties blossom into cuddly and cozy companions.
Pumpkin, while cautious at first, is the bolder of the sisters. Coaxed by patience and yummy meals, Pumpkin’s curious side will soon come out to play! When she isn’t chasing spring toys or catnip toys, she is a great work-from-home buddy, visiting you at your computer to ask for scratches and headbutts. When not at work, Pumpkin likes sitting in the window, cuddling with her sister, and snuggling up in your bed.
Zucchini is happiest at Pumpkin’s side. While she is the shyer of the two, when Zucchini is with Pumpkin, she finds the bravery to explore her world. She enjoys catnip toys and scratching pads and has discovered the joys of a good neck scratch. This little lady has a loud purr! When Zucchini is over being social she likes napping under beds and couches or snuggled up next to Pumpkin. She loves tuna flavored anything!
It’s hard not to be charmed by how much these two former basement cats now enjoy the cozy creature comforts they missed out on for so long. A home with Pumpkin and Zucchini is one with spirit, gratitude, and big purrs!
