This is the hardest thing I've ever had to write. I love this dog with my whole heart, but I have run out of options.
I've had Bailey since she was 9 months to a year and a half old (the vets were unsure). She was a rescue from Iredell animal control. I've had her since October 2018. She is my best friend, and we have been through so much together. Unfortunately, I am no longer in a situation where she can be healthy and happy. For financial reasons, we had to move into a tiny apartment in the city. She hates it here. The loud noises, the tight quarters, the busy streets; it's so bad for her, and I simply do not have the means to fix this.
A new home
- she needs to be an only dog. She was fine with others for years but was attacked and has never recovered from that
- she needs space to run around—ideally a fenced backyard.
- she needs literally all of the cuddles. All she wants is to be close to you.
- she has lived with cats twice and been fine with them even after the dog issues
