Susie is a sweet momma cat who loves taking care of her kittens - but also her independence! She is a natural climber and enjoys exploring the taller areas of the house to gain the best vantage point and perspective. Despite being an independent young mama, Susie also loves being pet, especially tail scritches, and she loves curling up in a ball on the bookshelf for a nap.
Susie is particularly attached to one of her kittens, Ossie, and they must be adopted together.
All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, FVRCP vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.
All of our kittens must go to homes where they will remain inside 24/7.
Young kittens must go home in pairs, or to a home with another cat. Infrequently we will make exceptions.

Toni, our founder, started fostering underage kittens that came into the local municipal shelter in 2000. By 2003 she had a network of foster parents and was saving many little lives so she became a non-profit. As of 2023 we are no longer with the shelter and are on our own. We have only one part-time employee and a dedicated group of fosters. All our kittens are vaccinated and spayed/neutered and receive all necessary medical care while in our care. We taken in strays from our partner trappers and from high-kill and over-crowded shelters, specializing in neo-nates and kittens under 6 weeks.
