My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bobbi Joe – The Brave Little Mom with the Short Tail 🐾

Personality & Quirks
Bobbi Joe is a small, young mama—about 1½ to 2 years old—who’s as curious as she is cautious. She enjoys quiet time in a sunny window or tucked away in her “fort,” and she’ll sometimes play when she thinks no one’s watching. While she’s not ready to be picked up, she’s learning to trust again. Bobbi Joe is honest about her boundaries—if she’s scared or feels cornered, she will swat to let you know. She’s looking for a person who respects her space and her pace.

Backstory
Bobbi Joe was found pregnant and alone. Thankfully, our rescue was able to trap her so she could give birth in safety. Given how calm she was when we found her, we believe she may have been dumped by someone she once trusted. Life has tested her, but she’s made it through with quiet strength.

Special Notes
Bobbi Joe has a super short tail due to an old injury, which only adds to her unique charm. She is litter box trained and enjoys her independence, but also shows glimpses of playfulness and connection when she feels safe. She can be easily bribed with Churu.

Why They Need You
Bobbi Joe needs someone patient and understanding—someone who can see the little moments of progress as big victories. With the right home, she will learn to love again, and you’ll be the one who restores her faith in humans.

Ideal Home for

Bobbi Joe would do best in an adult-only, calm home with no one who will push her boundaries. A patient adopter, willing to let her come to them in her own time, will earn the trust of a remarkable little survivor. A safe indoor space with cozy hiding spots and windows to watch the world go by will make her feel secure.

IMPORTANT: An application must be completed and approved before we can arrange a meeting with any cat or kitten. At Feral Today Friend Tomorrow, we place animals in homes that are the best fit for their individual needs, adoptions are not first-come, first-served.

Because all our foster cats live in private homes, we require an approved application before scheduling any meet-and-greet. You can submit your application online here:

Special Note: If cats are bonded or adopted as a pair, the total adoption fee will be less than the combined individual fees, we believe keeping companions together should be encouraged and supported.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to socialize and prepare abandoned, relinquished, or un-housed cats and kittens for permanent homes via our foster network. We also work to reduce the overpopulation of feral cats in the Metro Detroit Area through TNR to help homeless cats live happier, healthier lives.

Feral Today Friend Tomorrow began with one cat who was lost, alone, and hungry 3 years ago. She promptly told all of her friends about us. Now we are working to help cats and kittens throughout Oakland and Wayne Counties. Feral Today Friend Tomorrow provides foster homes and adoption services for those in our care. Feral Today Friend Tomorrow prides itself on providing loving and compassionate care for all kinds of cats, from neonatal kittens, feral cats who want to transition to a new indoor lifestyle, spicy seniors and all those in-between.

All of our animals are spayed or neutered, up to date on appropriate vaccinations, and chipped prior to being adopted to their forever homes.
