Meet Macarena Marlin, known affectionately as Mac! This handsome pup is thriving now that he's out of the shelter and is absolutely bursting with love and potential. Mac is a true social butterfly, loving everyone he meets—that includes dogs, people, and kids alike! He's currently mastering the last pieces of good manners, and needing just a little encouragement to go into his kennel. Mac’s greatest joy is being close to his loved ones; he craves affection and happily snuggles up to his people and his foster sister.
Mac is far from a typical unruly older puppy. He is an exceptionally polite and gentle dog who is always eager to please and learn. His quick mind and being highly food motivated make training a total breeze—he's already a pro at "sit"! Mac is intelligent, attentive, and thrives on positive reinforcement. He’s also a wonderful companion out and about; he makes a great walking buddy and loves to shower every person he meets with endless affection.
When it comes to other dogs, Mac is a great, well-adjusted playmate. He's listed as dog-friendly/selective, showing no reaction to other dogs, doing wonderfully in shelter playgroups, and behaving perfectly on a pack walk with nine other dogs! Mac is truly a gem, capable of being a versatile and beloved family member.
Macarena Marlin is an exceptional dog who deserves a family to call his own where he can continue to learn, play, and give all the love he has. If you’re looking for a smart, gentle, affectionate, and people-loving best friend, Mac is waiting to meet you!
