Hi! I’m Abileen, but you can call me Abby! I’m a 7-year-old, 64-pound girl with a happy smile. If you’re looking for a smart pup, you will be amazed at what I can do. I am an excellent puzzle toy solver and will find ways to play fetch by myself in the yard. I’m in search of a family that will give me lots of mental stimulation and wants to interact with me during play and training. I love to learn new things and would like for you to be the one to teach me! I’ve previously lived with children but need to be in a pet-free home. Balls are my favorite thing in the world and being near my people. I’m crate trained and housebroken. A fenced in yard is preferred!

Adopting an animal is an exciting and important step for you and your family! Here is a brief outline of what to expect.
1. Come to our shelter and visit with the animals... come as many times as you like... you'll know when you've met "the one!"
2. Meet with an adoption counselor who will work with you to see if the animal you want can fit into your lifestyle, preferences, desires and expectations or if another would be a better match!
3. Complete the adoption paperwork and counseling session (this may take up to 45 minutes, so please be prepared to spend this time with an Adoption Counselor). You may also complete the adoption application online prior to coming to the shelter! Please note the application is an expression of interest and does guarantee animal placement.
4. Take your new best friend home!!
