Georgie is a 2-year-old Lab/Shepherd mix with the softest heart and the gentlest spirit. He can be a little shy at first, but give him a bit of time, patience, and kindness, and youll see his true personality bloom. Once he feels safe, Georgie turns into the sweetest little lovebug-leaning in for pets, soaking up snuggles, and happily offering gentle kisses to his favorite people.<br/><br/>On his doggy day out, Georgie did wonderfully with his volunteers kittens and cats, showing calm curiosity and respectful manners. With slow, thoughtful introductions, he has great potential to live happily in a home with kitties. He also gets along well with other dogs and does best with respectful kids who understand giving a shy pup the space he needs to warm up.<br/><br/>Georgie is a certified couch potato who lives for the simple joys in life: cozy naps, tasty snacks, quiet companionship, and snuggle sessions. Meet the Pet
We recommend bringing the whole family, including resident dogs, to meet the pet you're interested in adopting to ensure it's a good match.

Sign Adoption Contract
Our adoption team will review the adoption contract with you. Adoption fees are $30 for dogs and $5 for cats unless during a special promo.

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person. As a high-intake shelter, most of the pets that come to us are strays, meaning we have limited background history on the pet, such as health, behavioral or living history. All adoptions include the animal's spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license. All adoptions include a 7 day free trial with our training partner, GoodPup to help ease the transition!
