My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🍀 Meet Halfpint — adult male, neutered, and the tiniest giant of a heart you’ll ever meet.

Once a feisty little feral whirlwind, Halfpint has transformed into a lovable, affectionate gentleman who’s traded hissy fits for head bumps and temper tantrums for gentle purrs. From “don’t touch me!” to “please, more pets!” he’s the ultimate success story in the art of cat charm.

He’s small in size but huge in personality, a true reminder that even the scrappiest little furball can become everyone’s favorite. Halfpint loves lounging in cozy spots, getting attention on his terms, and proving that sometimes the tiniest cats have the biggest hearts.

Adopt Halfpint and bring home a whiskered miracle with a story, a snuggle, and a heart full of love. 🐾💖✨More information? Call Marion Area Humane Society at 740-389-6548 or email at manager@mahspets.org

More about this shelter

Marion Area Humane Society is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization incorporated in 1967 under ORC 1717. We strive to educate, assist and protect the animals of the Marion area. Since 1986 have operated a shelter to provide a humane environment for homeless animals. In 2011 several generous donors and grants made it possible for a shelter renovation and addition of a separate intake section. MAHS operates a open-admissions shelter with a guilt and fee free surrender policy, to encourage owners who can not properly care or maintain proper living conditions for their pets to do the best thing for the pet. MAHS also provides humane investigations and a spay/neuter voucher program for Marion county.
