Here's what the humans have to say about me:
✨ Meet Jenny! ✨
🐾 8-month-old Poodle Mix
🐾 Shy but full of puppy energy (think toddler!)
🐾 Non-shedding, but professional grooming every 2–3 months is a must (we cannot guarantee hypoallergenic).
Nail trims every 6 weeks.
Jenny is a sweet, playful, shy girl who loves fetch and chew toys. She’s crate trained, mostly house trained (occasional accidents if rushed 😉), and would do best in a home with another small, playful dog—or as your cherished one-and-only.
She adores her sister Sally, and while they comfort each other at events, they will thrive better in separate homes. Please do not request them as a pair. 💕
🚫 No medium/large dogs
🚫 No kids under 10
🚫 No chain link fencing (she’s a climber/digger!)
🚫 No Acreages
🚫 No Dayhomes or Daycare type settings.
✅ Training with Joanna at For the Love of Paws is required.
📧 To apply: Email Heartprintsdogadoptions@gmail.com
➡️ Include a short bio about your family, home, fencing, and other pets.
(Only those who provide a bio & are a potential match will be contacted.)
📣 Ask my rescue guardians for the About Our Rescue Document when you email them.
We only accept applications from potential adopters in the following cities.
At Heart Prints Dog Rescue Society, our priority is always the safety and wellbeing of the dogs in our care. To ensure we can best support them, we only adopt within the Edmonton Region, which includes:

‼️ DISCLAIMER ‼️

We are volunteer based and although we would love to respond to all the applications, we can only contact the application we want to move forward with.

More about this rescue
We are a 100% not-for-profit, volunteer-run society located in the Edmonton Capital Region. Heart Prints Dog Rescue Society is a foster home–based rescue — we do not operate a shelter. We work closely with several Alberta rescue groups to help small- and toy-breed dogs in need. When a dog requires help, we arrange transport to our foster network, where they receive care, stability, and love until a forever home is found. Our mission is to provide safety, compassion, and a second chance to dogs whose owners are no longer able to care for them.
