Hi, I’m Bonnie. I came to Maui Humane Society back in April 2025, and when I first arrived, the world felt pretty scary. I was very under socialized and unsure about people. But thanks to the patience, love, and dedication of my amazing foster homes and the TLC from the MHS team, I’ve been learning that humans can be kind and safe. I’m still a shy girl, but I don’t mind a gentle pet once I start to feel comfortable. I really enjoy enrichment activities, and toys are one of my favorite things — playing helps me feel confident and happy! I also do well with other cats here at MHS, which makes me feel a little more at ease. I may need some extra time to warm up, but I promise I’m worth it. I’ve been waiting for my forever home for a long time, and all I’m hoping for is someone who will give me a chance, go at my pace, and see the sweet kitty I’m becoming. Could that someone be you?

Requirements for Adoption
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• In possession of a valid photo ID
• Allowed to have a pet where you live
• Must accurately complete our Adoption Questionnaire
• All dogs, cats and rabbits adopted from Maui Humane Society are spayed or neutered.
• Able to follow all county laws related to the animal.
• Able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide the training, medical treatment and proper care for the animal
