My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bubba Alfred The Security Guard

Hi, pal. My name's Bubba Alfred. Three long years on the force, thirteen pounds of muscle, and a spotless record of perimeter checks. I have been holding down posts at the shelter for a long while now and let me tell you, I am ready for my next assignment. I am looking for a forever home that needs a well-seasoned kitty officer to keep watch for mischief.
My specialties? Patrols, playtime, and pest control I keep any toys in check and under my guard. Wand toys are my favorite training exercise, and a little catnip? That is my coffee break. I am sweet and silly, but I do take my role very seriously. When I get nippy, it is not mischief, it is part of the job. A good security guard must keep everyone on their toes.
Okay, full disclosure - you cannot leave food or plants out on my watch. I will find them, I will investigate, and I will confiscate. A sandwich? Gone. A leafy houseplant? Consider it evidence. It is not that I am trying to be bad, I just cannot help myself. Curiosity is in the job description.

I am on a special diet standard rations for a pro like me. It keeps my system in check and makes sure I am always fit for patrol. I am also what they call FeLV in security terms? That just means I work best solo or with other officers who share my badge. Dogs are fine, non-cat critters are fine, and humans? You are my command staff. The important thing is I stay indoors, stay sharp, and stay on duty. No charge to take me home either I am on duty the moment I walk through your door.

So if you are looking for a loyal, funny, slightly nosy guard who will keep your home safe and keep you entertained, I am ready to clock in and patrol.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

By adopting a Feline Rescue cat you will be supporting a caring, no-kill shelter and making room for one more homeless cat. We are always looking for good, safe, loving homes for our many cats and kittens. We want to be sure placements are a success for both parties, so before we send our feline friends home with anyone, we ask you to fill out a basic questionnaire. Since we work with cats everyday we will be able to suggest a perfect match to your needs. All of our cats are spayed or neutered before adoption, receive all age-appropriate vaccinations, and high-quality veterinary care and exams. We charge an adoption fee to offset these costs. Adoption Hours: We are open seven days a week for adoptions, but our hours do vary. Please visit our website to see up to date open hours.
