My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Tyler, and I am a very friendly, handsome 7–8-year-old man. I’ve lived a rough life on the streets. I was trapped at a local colony with stray cats. BTKR has been working tirelessly to get cats from there spayed/neutered and the medical attention needed. Not sure how I ended up out there, but I know the outdoors is not for me. I came in with hardly any teeth. After a couple of vet visits, it was determined that it is not cancerous, but I had the remaining teeth and roots removed to prevent future infections and relieve pain.

I also learned I have several pieces of buckshot in my face. They will remain there because it is not safe to have them removed. Other than that, I am a very sociable, lovable cat, begging for attention from my foster moms.

I am so happy to have a dedicated food source, and I will be sure to let you know when my bowl is empty! I love Fancy Feast Chicken Gravy Lovers and Temptations treats are the best! I love to play with my catnip banana and any toys I can chase.

I am neutered, microchipped, Felv negative, and up to date on all vaccines. I am FIV positive, but don’t let that scare you. It just means my immune system is a little weaker than other cats, but I can still have the same long life as other cats that test negative.

My foster moms have been amazing, but I am ready to be king in my own house.

I get along with other cats but I don’t know how I am around other types of animals. I will need a home that doesn’t include small children. Older children who will respect my boundaries would be fine.
