God's Dogs Rescue plus Kitties does NOT transport any cats or kittens in or out of the state of Texas. It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding.

Nellie M. is quiet and reserved. She loves to observe the world around her and respond when something piques her curiosity. Like her sister Roadie, her upbringing was rough, somewhere in Laredo. She has blossomed into a beautiful blue-eyed white girl who is friendly and is becoming more and more sweet as she gets used to her new life as a cherished foster.

Adoption application required for dogs. However, because it stresses cats to be confined and transported with dogs long distances, we do not transport our cats. They are local to Texas only. Thank you.
Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..
If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted.
So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.
