My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** Please be aware, Mystic is bonded to his buddy Sprinkles.**

Bonded to adorable Sprinkles, Mystic is a large and fluffy boy who knows he's the most handsome cat on Earth. This boy has never met a stranger because he knows that more people = more people to adore him. When he's not zooming around playing with his sisters or by himself, he is the absolute most chill cat who loves sprawling out in front of windows and soaking up some heat. This dude abides, and, while he primarily saves his preferred snuggling allotment for the winter months when his fur isn't quite as effective as keeping him at his preferred temperature (warm), he will always accept scritches and pets when he's in chill mode (including on his incredible belly fluff, no traps here, put your face right in there). Just don't be offended if he immediately starts cleaning himself after you pet him! His fur takes a lot of work to maintain and it's not a comment on you, he just doesn't want your oils mixing with his oils. He knows you'll forgive him, we all benefit.

Some fun quirks:
- Mildly obsessed with feet. If he's laying down on the ground and you walk by he will attempt to grab your foot. Not with any violent intention, he just wants to politely remind you he's there. And maybe ask for food.
- Okay occasionally the foot grabbing might turn violent if he's in play mode, but he's very good about boundaries if you tell him your foot is not a toy!
- If you feel like returning the favor, his feet have just the most incredible bean sprouts. They don't help him navigate hardwood and tile flooring, so evolution might have skipped him.
- That's a lot of bullet points about feet and I'm sorry but it's an important part of his life.
- He is a certified member of the clean plate club. No food will go to waste, and he's generally quite respectful (especially while supervised) about not kicking his sisters off their plates before they're done. But as soon as they give the slightest indication of being done, their food will disappear in an instant.

More about this rescue

Tenth Life's Mission:
Giving cats the lives they deserve.
At Tenth Life, we believe that every cat, regardless of emotional or physical limitations, deserves the chance at a fulfilling and happy life.
We provide veterinary care, foster homes, and adoptive placement to stray cats and kittens, prioritizing those with special needs. We work to end unnecessary euthanasia and cat homelessness through educational outreach, community programs, and collaborative partnerships.

Only when a trusted veterinarian determines that a cat is in a state of incurable suffering, does Tenth Life relieve them of their pain through gentle and humane euthanasia. This difficult and thoughtful decision is never made in response to a lack of space, negative behaviors, or because a cat's medical needs are challenging or expensive.

To learn more about some of the cats we prioritize, visit our website, www.tenthlifecats.org. Thank you!
