My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! We are so happy to have this opportunity to find our forever home and we express our gratitude everyday by showering our rescuers with tons of kisses. We were so scared in that underground culvert and didn't think we'd find our way out but our rescuers crawled in and brought us to safety and here we are! We can't wait for our someone to come along to adopt us so we can begin sharing our lives together as a family. Maybe that someone is YOU?

Everyone, meet handsome brothers Miles and Tucker! Both boys are as sweet as can be and LOVE people. They love to give kisses and will park themselves as close as possible to you, even if that means both in your lap at the same time! lol. They definitely seek security from the nearest human and it's not uncommon for them to plant themselves against or in between your legs while you're standing. They just want to be close and feel loved. They have a strong foundation of a love for people and a desire to be with and near people so they will make fantastic companions to their new family. They are definitely bonded with one another so a family that is looking for double the love would be perfect. They will also bond extremely quickly to their new family. They are such handsome boys with very happy, sweet dispositions that you can't help but love them. A patient home who can give them plenty of reassurance while also building confidence is what we are looking for. Routine, consistency combined with loving positive reinforcement will go a very long way in building their confidence and sense of security. We can't overstate how much love these two have to give. Miles and Tucker are both neutered, up to date with vaccinations and micro-chipped. Their estimated birthdate is July 2023. For an application to adopt or foster them, please email adoptions@smilingdogfarms.org

Paws crossed xo

Please note we are always in need of foster homes for our dogs. If interested in making a difference in a dog's life, we would love to share with you what it means to be a foster parent. Foster homes greatly increase the chances of speedier adoptions and you'd be making a huge, positive difference in the life of an animal who needs you.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We are dedicated to ensuring that our dogs go to a "forever" loving, nurturing home. As a result, our process is stringent, requiring an application, home visit, vet and reference checks and an adoption contract. We want the adoption to be a match made in heaven for both the new adoptive parents and the adopted dog.

Go meet their pets

We provide adoption opportunities for those living in the Northeast who are willing to do long distance adoptions. Many of our dogs live in Wharton, Texas but we have very safe, reliable transport to the Northeast.

Many of our dogs live in Wharton Texas, but we have very safe, reliable transport to the Northeast.
