Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Liam
Liam (tri-colored) is10 lb. of adorableness. We pulled Liam and Griff from a high kill shelter. The staff there had fallen in love with these two pups and asked us to pull them so they could find loving homes. The boys are 3.5 years old and have always been together. They were bottled fed as young pups and were adopted by their caretaker. We’d like to adopt them together as they have never known life without the other. They are definitely better together.
The boys are a little shy, but once they feel safe they quickly warm up and look for the nearest lap to snuggle into. Liam is the more confident of the two and quietly goes about his business with Griff following closely behind. So cute. Liam (and Griff) are well-mannered and quiet. They are pad trained and have always lived inside. They like other dogs and do fine with cats. They walk nicely on a leash and travel well. The boys would love a quiet home where they can bond with their people. Given how small they are, they’d probably do best in a home without young kids but could certainly be around young kids if supervised. These two brothers are easy-going and will make for wonderful companions. They are fully vetted and neutered.
If interested in welcoming Liam and Griff to your heart and home, please submit an application online at: www.charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org.
Please email our shelter (smithgallhumanesociety@windstream.net) or call our shelter at 706-865-4135 and leave a message to make sure we received your application. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out-of-state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship, nor do we transport them to their new homes. Adoption policies and application procedures are detailed at the shelter website: http://charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org/ under tab All Adoptable Animals.
Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are either owner relinquished rescued from area Animal Controls or high kill shelters. The facility usually operates at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
