Since you are reading this, you must be on the hunt for a new best friend. What a coincidence! So am I!
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Arthur and I am a little over a year old and approx 55lbs. I found myself at the puppy pound in July, broke out in August, and am ready to settle in to my furever home!
I was lucky to find a foster home with another dog friend to hang out with and he showed me all the fun things that come with living the good life, in a loving home. But he just got adopted (lucky guy) and now I’m waiting for my turn!
So let me tell you a little more about me…
Not to brag but people tell me I have the softest fur and the most stunning eyes.
They say that dogs are man’s (or woman’s) best friend – well I agree! And I am THE best friend around town. I love with all my heart and all my body too – seriously, get ready for snuggles and kisses!
But I don’t just like people – I love meeting new dog friends too! I’m not sure I’ve met another dog that I didn’t like. I don’t need doggy daycare, another friend in the home, or to go with you to hang out with your friends/family and their pups, but I’m up for the adventure if you are! However, I prefer a house without felines, they are just not for me.
I also walk well on a leash, enjoy chewing on bones, and napping (preferably on a big bunch of blankets, being the king I am). I love treats and that is what motivates me best to learn new tricks. I am a good balance of playful, loving, silly, and timid.
I actually enjoy being in my crate and like to spend time in the yard just chilling while you work on chores or just chill with me too!

Canine Cupids' mission is to protect and improve the lives of homeless, neglected, and exceptional needs dogs and to place them in permanent, loving homes.
Canine Cupids is a Certified 501c3 Organization
DATCPLicense: 288601-DS
Canine Cupids work with animals, within our community and throughout our organization is guided by three core values: compassion, integrity and dedication.
Because every animal deserves to be loved, we feel it is our moral responsibility to protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless dogs, and to place them in loving permanent homes.
We strive to work with animal control agencies as well as other rescues and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless pets within our community.
At Canine Cupids our founding principle is that "ALL dogs are individuals and deserve to be regarded as such". This mindset is core to the belief system at The Animal Farm Foundation. It assists in securing equal treatment and opportunity for "pit bull" dogs - as well as all dogs, regardless of size, color, etc.
"We owe it to all dogs to see them for who they really are, free of prejudice, stereotypes, and assumptions that are based on a known pedigree, a breed label guess, physical appearance, or their past history."*
"Breed related traits are not guaranteed. If a dog does conform to breed traits that does not mean a dog isn't an individual! Breed characteristics may contribute to a dog?s individuality, but they are not the whole story." *
Don't judge a book by its cover and don't judge a pooch by its stereotype!
