Lovingly known as Choco, this 44-pound bundle of joy has the soul of a puppy and the grace of a well-mannered companion. She zips around the yard with surprising pep, often in figure 8's, chasing her beloved soccer ball, tugging on rope toys, or carrying stuffed animals like precious treasures! She’s crate trained, house-trained, and knows her manners inside and out, with solid command of sit, stay, down, leave it, and come. Whether she’s going for a car ride or lounging on the sofa beside you, Choco is happiest when near her favorite people without ever demanding constant attention.
Choco has lived with her sister for many years, but as their home life shifted, so did their dynamic. In recent months, tensions between the two grew, leading to a scuffle initiated by her sister. Since then, they’ve been kept separate, and it’s become clear that Choco would thrive best in a pet-free home where she can enjoy peaceful companionship and be the center of her family's world. While she can be reactive to other dogs on walks, she’s done well in environments like vet clinics, grooming salons, and boarding facilities.
This calm yet playful girl loves watching the world from the front door, soaking in the sunlight, and curling up close to her caregiver. She brings comfort and joy without being clingy, and her affectionate nature makes her a soothing presence in any room. Choco is in great health and doesn’t necessarily need a fenced-in yard, as long as she’s walked several times a day, she’ll have all the adventure and exercise she needs to keep up her youthful spirit.

If you're ready to take the next step in adoption, the first step is to complete our adoption application so that we have all the information we need to determine that you'll be able to provide a safe and compassionate home to one of our rehomed pets.
Once approved, all you need to do is sign our adoption agreement form, pay the adoption fee, and schedule an adoption date with the pet's current family.
