My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stop scrolling, because you’ve found the one! Meet Koi, our sweet 7-year-old brown tabby who is ready to upgrade your life from "fine" to "fabulous." Koi recently landed at Heartland after a tough hoarding situation, and he’s more than ready to write his next chapter.

Koi is more than just a cute kitty; he's a certified zen master with just the right amount of playful spark. Sure, he has a face you'll want to squeeze and a soul so pure his eyes are practically sparkling mirrors, but his real superpower is companionship.

Koi's personality is the perfect package: he's wonderfully chill but will surprise you with an occasional burst of true kitten-like energy. He really enjoys a wand toy during play sessions!

His relationship status could be best described as ready to commit to a lifetime of shared blanket time.

What's his biggest career goal? To be your official, purr-fectly qualified co-pilot for that endless TV series you’ve been meaning to start (or re-watch).

If you’re ready for a gentle, loving guy who will make every day feel a little brighter, adopt Koi! He's waited long enough for his starring role in a loving home, is it yours?

He is neutered, up-to-date on his FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations and is FeLV negative.

Koi is FIV positive. This just means that there are some extra steps to keeping him healthy. FIV can weaken the cat's immune system. While FIV-positive cats can enjoy long, healthy lives, they can be hit harder by secondary infections. Please feel free to ask our Heartland Team for a more in-depth overview.

He is currently staying at our Heartland Facility! We are open Thursday 4pm-7pm, Friday 4pm-7pm, Saturday Noon-6pm and Sunday Noon-6pm. Feel free to stop by to meet him! No appointment necessary.
