Fernando is a handsome, medium-sized gentleman with a snowy white coat accented by charming brown tabby spots. His bright eyes and curious expression make it clear he’s always keeping tabs on what’s happening around the house. He’s the picture of politeness — tidy with perfect litter box manners, respectful of furniture, and always ready to make himself part of your daily routine. Fernando previously had a minor skin issue, but after a round of treatment, it has completely cleared up and he’s feeling his best.
This sweet boy enjoys being near his people, whether curled up at the foot of the bed or nestled in the bathroom sink (his favorite lounging spot!). He happily accepts pets and attention, and while he’s not a fan of loud noises, he will melt into your arms if he ever feels unsure, clinging to you like a baby. AARF only adopts pets to people in the Baltimore/DC metro region. In certain circumstances, we will consider homes in closer areas Pennsylvania, Delaware and Northern Virginia. This is due to the required home visit and long term ability to support the adoption. If you live outside of an hour radius of Baltimore, it is unlikely that your application will be approved.
Completion of the application form does not guarantee AARF will place one of our pets in your care. Many of our animals receive multiple applications, and we evaluate each applicant on fit for the specific animal (not first come first serve).
Completion of the application authorizes AARF to verify any information contained herein, including verification of medical records of any present or prior pets treated by the veterinarians listed.
