Ruby is the sister of Desparado and Brandy, a beautiful female, a mix of a border collie and black mouth cur. She has a reddish coat with a black mouth. Ruby is very shy and will require a fenced yard and a lot of attention to make her feel safe and secure. She is house broken and socializedwith dogs but is afraid of humans. She came into Lost Dogs Run with a gunshot wound. She had been shot with a high powered rifle (vet thought it was a 30/06) and the bullet went through both back legs and shattered the tibia in one of them. Rather than amputate, a splint was put on, and the bone fragments by some miracle grew back together and now she runs and walks without a limp. She needs a good home. The picture shows her on 4-13-25 when she was recovering from the gunshot wound.
