My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nancy!

THRIVING IN FOSTER! HOUSE-TRAINED, CRATE-TRAINED AND LOVES OTHER DOGS!

With ears any pup would envy, this one-year-old mixed breed baby is 50 pounds and is in desperate need of a dedicated home with another puppy pal to make her life complete!

Nancy is currently staying with a fabulous foster family and we are learning so much about her! She loves hanging out with her fur sister and would thrive in a home with another furry pal. Nancy loves to romp in the snow and has a blast bunny-hopping her way around the yard with her fur sister. Nancy is a pup that finds comfort with other dogs and her new home must have another confident dog to help show her the ropes!

Nancy thrives on routine and we are happy to share she is both house-trained and crate-trained! She enjoys all sorts of toys and treats, especially peanut butter! Her foster parents are able to take away food/toys with no issue. Nancy rides well in the car and is becoming more confident everyday. A calmer, predictable home where she will have time and encouragement to feel secure would be best for Nancy.

As she is still a young lady, Nancy will benefit from daily exercise and continued training. A yard for her to enjoy with another pup is a must for her. Her new family will need to be patient and understanding while she acclimates to life in her new home. We promise you she will repay your kindness for years to come! At the end of the day, she sleeps quietly through the night.

Based on our current evaluation, Nancy will do best in an active, but predictable home with adults or families with kids ages 16 and up. She will need to go to a home with another dog who can continue to help build her confidence. We are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby!

If you'd like the chance to show Nancy just how good life can be, head to greatlakesdogrescue.com and submit your application for this submissive sweetheart!
