My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoring Moira: The Theatrics Are Free & The Cuddles Are Priceless

With her dramatic entrances, fearless curiosity, and unapologetic love of mischief, Moira is a leading lady in her own right. She’s a one-of-a-kind character who keeps everyone laughing with her goofy antics and expressive brown eyes. Moira lives life with gusto and a whole lot of personality!

She’s incredibly playful with other dogs and thrives in the company of canine friends. Her favorite hobbies include roughhousing with her sister, lounging dramatically in sunbeams, and keeping you guessing what she’s going to try and chew next. Moira is a smart cookie and would absolutely shine with continued training, especially in a home that celebrates her quirks and gives her room to grow.

Moira is still learning to be brave in the big, wide world. But don’t let her coyness fool you—once she’s in her comfort zone, her personality shines like a spotlight! Moira is endlessly entertaining and has a particular gift for locating, stealing, and proudly parading around with anything she can carry. Moira’s got an eye for treasure and zero shame in her collection game!

This little diva prefers to make the first move when it comes to meeting new people, but once you’re in, you’re in. And if you’re lucky enough to see her plop into a sun puddle or zip around the yard like she’s rehearsing for a rom-com montage, you’ll understand just how special she is.

If your home has a spot for a comedic genius with a soft heart and some dramatic flair, Moira might just be your leading lady!

Moira is looking for a home with a fenced yard where she can play safely and she’d especially love a home with another resident dog to help guide her and keep up with her energy!

Moira is estimated to have been born June 7th and weighs roughly 25 lbs. She is a mixed breed dog and we expect her to be on the larger side when fully grown.

Moira’s adoption fee is $550. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Per our rescue policy, unless specifically noted in a dog's bio, we will not consider adoption applications from families with children under 5 years old.

We take care to make sure every pup finds their pawfect forever homes! Our policy is to match our puppies’ personalities to our prospective adopters’ lifestyle and preferences in a four-legged fur companion. We reserve the right to select a pup we feel will be best suited for you, which may not be the pup you originally applied for.

Forgotten Dogs Rescue requires all puppies under a year of age to be enrolled in puppy classes. Ask us about our recommendations and requirements for positive reinforcement training options!

More about this rescue

Forgotten Dogs Rescue is a volunteer and foster home based rescue organization focused on saving Pit Bull type dogs. Located in Washington State, we are a 501c3 non-profit and have been saving animals since 2011. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dogs who are in Washington's shelters, surrendered by their owners due to difficult circumstances or are in danger of abuse or neglect.

We save the dogs that need help the most, the dogs whose time has run out, the dogs who have lost all hope — the forgotten dogs.
