Charlie is named after Charlie Chaplin, because of his dark eyes and funny demeanor. We totally made that up, but he does have a sweet comedic quality about him. Charlie came in with Clyde and was a bit embarrassed because unlike Clyde, Charlie wanted all of the attention and lovin' upfront! He puts up no walls and welcomes any affection he can get! Charlie is a one year old male hound mix that weighs around 60 pounds. Our adoption fee helps offset the cost of preparing our guests to enter a forever home! While expenses for each animal varies, the average healthy dog or cat receives $500 in medical treatment between intake and adoption. Variables in the cost are conditional based on guest needs with some topping out at thousands of dollars.
