Animal Profile: Oak is an estimated 6.5 month old male mixed breed who joined us from Hawaii. We believe Oak is a Hound mix and he weighs about 32 lbs right now. Oak came to the Seattle area to search for his forever home as the Hawaii County shelter is beyond packed and this allows him a second chance at life.
Foster Update: Oak has spent the last couple months settling into his foster home, where he lives with two other adult dogs. He gets along with them fabulously and loves to play play play! He is submissive to the older dogs but is not afraid to be rambunctious. He is crate trained and can be left alone for up to 6 hours. Potty training is progressing! Oak is very affectionate and seeks out his people. He would also do well with active adults, but will require a yard so he can continue his potty training. Breed experience preferred.
Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization.
