Meet June and Bug! June (2 years) and Bug (5 months) are two bonded besties ready to find their forever home. As both Bug and June are dilute calicos found on the same street in Bed Stuy, it’s very likely these girls are related! Either way, they have really bonded in their foster home and want to share their cuddly selves with you!
Bug is your typical playful and curious young kitten. She loves climbing all over you, playing with string toys, and chasing after her foster sister, all while purring constantly. She’s also not afraid to snuggle up next to you for a nap. She’s got a healthy appetite and will sing for her dinner when you open the can! Bug is very social and has yet to meet a human she doesn’t like!
Shy at first, June absolutely melts into purrs when you put her in your lap. Gentle and loving, she is an excellent biscuit maker. June spent much of her first two years of her life in a hoarding situation, only to be abandoned by her owner after a series of unwanted pregnancies. That’s right, at only two year old, June has already had multiple litters of kittens, though you would never know it from her youthful, kittenish appearance. (Also, those cheek bones?? Did she get buccal fat removal??). While her friendship with Bug continues to improve her confidence, June is still skittish from the trauma of being abandoned, and will need a family that is patient and gentle with her.
June and Bug love to cuddle and groom and must be adopted together. They would likely thrive with other cats though we don’t know how they feel about dogs! June and Bug deserve to be the sweet, curious kittens that they are! We hope to find a home where they can thrive.
June and Bug are spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, have been treated for fleas and parasites and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
If you're ready for these adorable girls, please welcome June and Bug into your heart and home! Fill out our adoption application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/. Make sure you mention June/Bug, and identify CLAIRE as the RESCUER when you fill out the form!
Thank you for considering a rescued angel! Every dime goes to save another homeless kitty on the street.
