Dog Name: Minnie Mouse
Breed: Mixed Breed
Sex: Female
Age: 16 months
Weight: 43lbs
Medical Needs: None
Housebroken: Yes. Once comfortable in her environment, on a schedule, and knows where to go.
Crate trained: Yes. She sleeps well in her crate and will go in on her own to hide or find toys.
Good in the car: Yes. She’s a little nervous at first but settles in. She can get anxious on long car rides.
Good on a leash: Medium. She is especially better with a dog that is good on walks. In her own she will pull and needs direction/attention to stay with you.
Energy level: High. She enjoys her walks and really loves playing with other big dogs.
Need a fenced in yard: No. She can jump a normal sized fence so will need to be monitored in any yard.
Dog Friendly: Yes
If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No, but she loves playing with a big dog and it may be best as she needs to be taught how to be a good dog.
Cat Friendly? Yes. Our cat doesn’t like her but they haven’t been in a fight at all. She is curious but doesn’t chase them.
Kid Friendly: Yes
If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? Over 8. She’s still got a lot of puppy in her and needs to be taught manners. Recommend kids who have the ability to correct her.
Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them?
Minnie likes to steal other dogs toys from their mouth and then chew it right in front of them - that’s the extent of how she plays. She’s just a puppy who has had a rough start and needs a family who is willing to teach her from the ground up. She’s has the potential to be an amazing pet.
