My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you’re looking for a cat with a lot to say, Elleve may just be your perfect match. This handsome boy is chatty, expressive, and loves to make his presence known with his big voice and outgoing personality.

Elleve came to us from a hoarding situation where he lived with many other cats. Because of that past, he doesn’t enjoy being confined and prefers the freedom to roam and explore. He thrives in a space where he can stretch out, find sunny spots to lounge, and, of course, hold long “conversations” with his people.

Elleve will do best in a home that can appreciate his talkative nature and give him plenty of room to feel secure. He’s looking for someone who understands his independent streak but will also love him for the affectionate, one-of-a-kind cat he is.

If you’ve ever wanted a furry friend who doubles as a chatty roommate, Elleve is ready to move in and keep you company with his endless commentary.
All of our cats are spayed/neutered, dewormed, FELV tested, microchipped, receive prevention while in our care, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. If you're interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https://www.sftsrescue.org/adoptable-cats

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process prioritizes accessibility, equality, and inclusivity. An application can be completed online or in person, ensuring accessibility for all potential adopters. Additionally, our application is available in Spanish to cater to a diverse range of applicants.

Once an application is submitted and approved, we facilitate adoption meet-and-greets on-site at our shelter's adoption center. This allows potential adopters to interact with the animals they are interested in and make informed decisions about their adoption.

Overall, our adoption program is designed to make the process as smooth and inclusive as possible, ensuring that each animal finds a loving and permanent home.
